If i bake its only to make bread, the smell is amazing and reminds me of when my mum cooked bread for me and my brother, its funny how aromas can spark such vivid memories.

I bake alot. I was a house husband for 3 years so got right into the role!

I can cook alot of things too........

Easiest thing to bake is a Strawberry Sponge, and if you follow my recipe, they're absolute divine!

7oz Butter
7oz Caster Sugar
Mix them together until they make a paste.
Add 3 eggs and mix in.
11oz of Flour, I think. I do it by sight and texture now. Mix this together (not with a blender, stupid) then pour into two seperate baking trays (7inchs, no puns intended)
Grease the trays before you put the mixture in. Flatten the mixture out, trying to get it as even as possible.
Put the trays into a pre-heated oven at 190 for 25 minutes!

When cooked remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes or so, remove from trays and depending on what taste you want, decorate it!
I tend to put Strawberry/Raspberry jam in the middle and coat the top with icing sugar. Very nice.

Tune in next time......

EDIT: I'm actually still a house husband, but also a student so don't get all the time in the world to bake, for shame........

I must say, if you want some fresh cream in your sponge (:-S) wait for it to cool first before putting it in, as the obvious will happen. (And for those still not guessing the obvious, the cream melts)

Notice how I know not to use a blender? Yeah well you live and learn, same with the cream. Was a blonde moment....

You must try it Stella, you'll be shocked at how good it tastes with a cuppa tea!

Never tried to make a pizza, although my mother-in-law has a great recipe for one. Might have to try it soon!

I was told the other day by an old dear that I'd make a good wife for someone, one day, I didn't have the heart to tell I wasn't homosexual, so let her think away, bless her!

YEAH ME!

K, ya ready?

Go the Asda, get one or two blocks Choco Block cooking choc {Plain or Milk whatever ya fancy, i dnt buy it i use dairy milk tho this takes longer to melt)

Box Rice Krispies

Pay for them (cos ya got to) Take them home (cos ya got to)

Break choc into squares and place in a heat resistant bowl (biggish one)

Fill a pan with water, heat it and place the bowl over it, thus making the choc melt yeah?
Once melted, pour a load of rice krispies in and stir til ALL rice covered with choc

Fill cake cases and leave to set

Once set STUFF YA FACE!

HMMMMMMMMM Dontcha just luv Rice Krispy Cakes

Right...You get your favourite Chocolate Bar....Summin like a kit kat chunky...If youra big boy then maybe grab 3...

Open the rappers and chuck them all in a bowl.....Add milk...and mash them up with a masher thing.....Then they go into all little soggy pieces....Place in microwave for 4 minutes...take out and it should be hot....if it isnt....you forgot to switch it on

Open a tin of bramley custard and wack it in the microwave for 40 seconds....Pour on top of the cake.....And..
