well i was surfing on the ol google and i was bored so i typed in funky pool.. one of the things that came up was this... http://www.quantcast.com/funkypool.com anyone else find it interesting that we are all poor haha i just thought it was funny.. can any admins maybe.. spinner tell us how accurate this is?

How strange that they can presume this sort of data.

Iv only met about 4 asian people on here ever! so i doubt that asians and hispanics make up the majority of the site. Makes me laugh when pretty much everyone who has a pic of themselves up is white but white people are the least represented


However, Chris, is this not independent research that could be used for the wikipedia thing you tried to do? Just a thought?

my guess is the data comes from users that click the adverts.. and the advert then has a survey.. blah blah blah.. idk some of it seems right.. then some of it seems wayyyy off lol

Oops. Looks like some of you are misreading the data.

It doesn't say that Asians and Hispanics make up the majority... just that compared to the internet average, FP has a higher proportion of them.

i.e. Imagine the internet average is 1,000,000 Caucasian users and 100 Asian users (no racism is intended there, I just need heavily biased numbers for my example).
A site with say 900,000 Caucasian users and 150 Asian users would produce a similar bar chart to the one in that link.
It's the PROPORTION that is greater, not the actual NUMBER.

If you click the 'Demographics' tab, the actual breakdown is shown as this:
Cauc. 51%
Afr.Am. 9%
Asian 15%
Hispanic 22%
Other 2%

I haven't got a clue where they get their data from, but it might me a bit more accurate than you think.
