this shows my ignorance of cars... but how do you lock a door without a key???

I left my keys and my cell phone in the car. I lock it from the inside before I get out, and I shut the door before I remembered that I put the keys in the purse.

It sooooo isn't! I've been driving for... well, okay, only 3 years, but stiil, this is the first time this has happened. I'm usually pretty careful.
