I'm just trying to think of an easier way of finding my rank and the highest ranked player online?

I almost fall asleep when im looking for some that is my ranking to play.
It really takes a long time and if your gonna say make a game that says my rank..

my reply is... People still enter the game even though they are not my rank!

well then play friendlies.

if you have a list of the highest ranked players online and your at the top, everybody is going to want to play you.

it would be good but I think that you may be challenged by easier people even more.

and one game against a lower rank wouldnt hurt would it?? if yoh thrash them, they will go anyway

My advice is just play anyone, You can only get better
I always play a friendlie before a ranked match
for a warmup kinda thing, Then i dont really
care who i play lol, So just go for it

And play anyone you never know you might win

if he wanted to play friendlys he wouldnt have made a thread so thats not constructive advice is it.

well what else are you going to do if no one of your rank isnt online and you dont want to play the lower ranks in a ranked game??

either

a) log off and find something else

b) play a friendly

this isnt directed at you firewire but its directed at the person who made the last post and to anyone else complaining about finding no one of their rank online as i know that there are a few out there

You've gotta play lower ranks when you get near the top as the top ranks don't want to play ranked games.

obviously if he could see there was noone online then he has the two options you mention.

WRONG, only games... but who cares, just play whoever is there. we dont have to be silly about it and have 'highest ranked players online'.....no need. All those top ranked players know who to look for...find someone yourself, and then message them. It would take no time more.

BUT, I think that if your going to have a highest rank table, you might as well put everyone online so newbies can find newbies.

Read the thread on the link i posted. I agreed that it would be a great idea to show everyone who is online and to be able to search within certain parameters.
One day if you ever get a high rank you might understand what people are asking for and why it can sometimes be hard to find someone of a similar rank online.
The chances of you giving me a lesson in anything are very similar to that of derby county winning the champions league next season........

Add top 10 onto friends list perhaps??

the majority of the top ten when i was playin games were on my friend list- but i just think it would be a good feature if you could search for people online at the moment within certain parameters such as over 750 in uk but under 800 in uk or 830 plus in 9 ball and so on

If no one online is your rank play friendlies.

But on the otherhand if you had a tab on the main page (idealy under the overall tab)
indicating who is the 50 highest ranked players currently competing online, this would make it easier for players to find people their rank.

but like i said eralier, what about the lower ranked players who want to find people with THEIR rank online??

you just cant go and put on the top 50 ranks online. How about something like the top 50 professionals (top 50 online), top 50 adepts, top 50 intermediats and top 50 newbies??

that way it caters for everyone
