but....the main reason why 7 ballings on funkypool have been declined by the community on here is because it does happen every few minutes.

but the reson why this should be brought up again is because on funkysnooker, if you get a break of 20 or more, you get an announcement.

I know that Pool is more popular but 7 ballings are a major achievement. It goes on your profile and not everyone does it every day...I have only ever had 2.

I think that the excuse of it coming up to often is crap (being honest). IT is not a problem on snooker at all, it happens every few minuts or so and its good to see that people are succseeding at the game they are playing.

Old idea, trying to bring it up again because a similar achievement on snooker does the same thing with out any problems

No you don't lol, i never have when my highest is 32 (I don't play alot lol)

You get announcements for 30 + breaks on original and 50 + breaks on arcade.

I know it used to be 20+ lol, but it's definately not now.

There used to be an announcement for 7 ballings... but it happened so often it was removed.

Personally 7 ballings arent a "major" achievement, therefore I cant see the point in having an announcement for them.

As far as snooker goes, on arcade it 'used' to announce for breaks higher than 20 and for the same reason this was altered to breaks over 100. However, they realised that this boundary was too hard to reach for most players so again it was altered to half century breaks.

Perhaps if you achieve a certain number of seven ballings in a specified amount of time.

For example:
"Announcement: UK 8 ball - dark_cloud just did his 3rd 7 balling in an hour"

No we shouldn't have announcements for 7 ballings, they happen too often. Also, a runout on UK and US 8 ball is a bigger acheivement.

There will be far too many announcments cluttering up chat. It's fine as it is I think.

Yep 50+ for a half century and 100+ for a century for snooker.

my bad lol....it used to be and i dont play snooker that often now.

i see good and bad with clouds idea but maybe we could have all announcements as an option just like tournament results and game results are an option.

i have tournament results on so i can see how my rivals are going so maybe it could be an option for all announcments (except for moderator annoncuments).

i brought this up months ago about announcements for 7 ballings, 1 player came up with a good idea thats its only announced when you reach 25 then 50 and so on. doing it everytime a player gets one is a bit to much i think

I like that idea kev, When a player reaches 25 7 ballings it should announce it, then 50 7 ballings, 75, 100.. and so on..

for what ever one you reach it in, if your say on 24 for us 8ball then you do a 7 balling a announcement would then come up on screen that you have reached 25 seven ballings in us 8ball
