Just out of interest why is it when the player gets time shot limit in a game, and the random ball shoots off and hits there own ball they can then carry on (if there lag or slow play lets) this is a random shot becuase they have broken the time limit and they have reached the limit in that game, should this be a foul shot surley, i only ask becuase i played a game and the player had random and potted his own ball, i did foul and he carried on with game! Should this not be a foul if they time limit is reached!

i have had the same problem in the past. I suggested that there is no penelty but just a ball in hand insted (like in snooker or any other time limit pool gmae on TV).

no one liked the idea then but i still think that it is a good alternitive to just a random shot where it protentially screws up your tournament game
