i know birmingham played in that but i think they got to the final twice so it cant be them....
newcastle won it but have been in europe since- same with arsenal- im pretty sure leeds won it once (maybe twice) as well but the same applies....i take it you did mean english and not british

Birmingham only got to final once I think, late 50s I think, but may have been two legs at the time that you are getting confused.
Anyway I think Birmingham might be right. But I'll fire in with West Brom.

.......actually can't be West Brom, the only reason I guessed them was Dunfermline (team I support) played them in Fairs Cup in 60s. But Pars beat them and it certainly wasn't final.
