what are your thoughts on the new nfs game then, personally my favourite of the series is still most wanted with underground 2 in a close second, this need for speed is terrible just the same as carbon, the driving control is awful, the cars are a good point however the fact that there is no freeroam and they have tried to tap into the hardcore racing market means that because this is Need for Speed its half a job, frankly i think that gran turismo 4 was way better lol...

Need for speed is running out of road, there's too many of them now, a bit like Tony Hawks games.
Personally, i like newer franchises, such as Forza which isssues a better challenge.

Yeh, if you enjoy the tuning part of car games you'll love forza, it's online as well. More features there as well such as auctions.

Yeh, it's exclusive to Xbox 360.

Though down the line i believe that another TOCA racing game is coming to PS3, which is loads better than need for speed.

Will TOCA be out on the 360? I love those games, I'd kick some interweb bottom if they came out on the 360....

yeah forza 2 good but its abit too long. i got nfs but it was rubbish gave it to my mate.

I agree, Forza takes ages to complete but at least it keeps you going, Gran Turismo 4 is almost the same because of the endurance races.


I'm trying to unlock that ford GT-40, you can get 260mph out of it, handy for the drag races!!!

I would of liked to play Formula 1 2008 on a next gen console but it turns out they aren't planning to develop anymore Formula 1 games for the foreseeable future

Yeah need for speed: pro street is a bit of a let down, I prefer the underground tuning versions, too legitimate in terms of racing, it is too gran turismo and toca-ish
