Hi, this is starting to get really annoying now, it's cause me to lose quite a few games.

Whenever I'm on the net my internet just disconnects, for no reason at all.

And no, I don't have wireless.

It doesn't actually say it has disconnected because when I go to connect again it says I'm already connected, so I disconnect now and connect again and it still doesn't work!

Need some help here...

what internet connection are you using eg ( Broadband dial up?)

well there is broadband, and dsl (which is threw a phone line) but i know a few people that still have dial up :P

Are you sure its the internet?

Cos FP disconnects me sometimes...

Then I check the desktop and there is an error report from java...

Maybe that is your problem

That file is named "hs_err...." etc isnt it?

Removing Java, clearing browser history, rebooting and running a full windows update before re-installing Java should sort it

How do you run a full windows update?

i have a similar issue i turn my computer off late evening and when i go to use next day the connection has gone i have a router as have 2 computers.

also my internet page after a few hours of bein up and running just freezes and closes for no reason i have windows xp if that makes any difference.

Go to your control panel, then click "windows update".

A window will appear and run the update.

Java reinstalling it or you could use a different browser trying using Mozilla Firefox.

Who is your supplier?
BT,ORANGE,AOL etc?
