For me hes the best player ever, there are so many good players nowadays and he dominates them all, he may lose a few in small tournaments but when the grand slams come up he is unreal, no to mention the record breaking prize money hes won this year. To me he is the best ever already, i just wish he wud win the french then everyone else would feel the same, what kind of surface is clay anyway lol.

well bjorn bjorg is still voted best ever tennis player of all time but federer is closing in but the truth is it was so much different with the racket sizes even though im talking out of my lfe here i still know lol

True with what Alex said! Although I think we all know Federer would of kicked bottom back then regardless of racket size. His movement on court is amazing, you count how many lost points he saves from impossible positions! Easily the best ever, able to cope with any style of play.

The earnings dont mean much, players win more than than they used to due to inflation etc.

Think he's the best player at the moment and ever, yes someone might have won more than him but he's only 26 and the others have had many more playing years.
