Anyone have an idea on any other methods we can use to get a game going if we don't get 8?

- 2 groups of 3

- play each other once

- top 2 from each group go through to straight knock-out semi-final

EDIT: Means everyone plays at least two games aswell.

I'm assuming top of group 1 would play 2nd of group 2 and so on? Rather than an open draw where you could play someone you have already played in the semi-final?

I'm thinking of this.

Top 2 qualifiers go through. 1st place from group A will play 2nd place from groub B and vice versa.

How does that sound?
