Following hot on the heels of my random shot challenge (http://www.funkypool.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=10209), here are the rules of the non-contact shot challenge:
1. If the ball touches a cushion, stationary object or another ball (i.e. anything), a penalty shot is awarded, subject to rule 4.
2. A maximum of one penalty for actual shot will be levied, i.e. multiple contacts in one shot are not individually penalised
3. It is legal (sic) to intentionally take a shot that makes contact with an object.
4. The jaws of the pockets do not count for the purposes of rule 1.
Post your best scores here! My best after one attempt: 25 + 5 = 30
AMENDMENT
Rule 5: If the ball casually glances the flagstick on the way into the pocket in hole 8 (i.e. if it would have hit the cushion if the flagstick weren't there, that does not count as a contact punishable under rule 1.
