Java Issues!

I tried to open the game window just now, and I was prompted with the message:
"JAVA Plug-in Fatal Error
Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error"
I've no idea what this means...It's the first time I've ever got this message. Recently I ran windows update and downloaded IE 7, maybe this has something got to do with it. But anyway, I cant open the game window now. Any suggestions?
