I still don't support starting gambling on this particular game site, but I would never respect laws that prohibit stuff like that - it's a private matter entirely in my book
(it's illegal in my country too, but no bank would dream of disrespecting their customers by enforcing it)

i disagree with this idear sorry. funkypool is suppose to be a familey friendly site and playing for money will force admin to make the site for members aged 18 and over ( due to uk law ) dont think that would be very fair for the younger members of funkypool

Virtual cash would be good, real money wouldn't be as I aim to be a millionaire before i'm 30..not before i'm 20
Virtual cash could be spend on:
New Ball Colours/Patterns that can be used in your private games with others.
New Cloths that you can use.
New cues for you and current opponent.
New sound options.
Entry into tournaments. Where there would be a virtual cash prize
New leaderboards. (Current highest cash, highest total won, most spent etc.)
I'm sure others can think of a few other things too

I Like... this seems more reasonable... having a typing thing like your game name in the create a game window. Sounds quite cool.

Try reading the thread before posting something stupid- as already mentioned many times if people didnt want to gamble then they dont have to- it would be a choice

Dont really like this idea. Virtual money i could see that working but then whats the point, i find it hard enough to get pro's and virt's to play and i think it would be next to impossible if this was happen( they would all be taking money off each other). Also the being 18 to gamble wouldnt that stop younger players completly ( to comply with the law).
That being said i dont think this is very likely to happen.
I dont see the point in being able to modify or upgrade a cue as it is hardly seen in game play.

Id end up spending my whole wage trying to beat people lol. Sure there are sites out there where u can gamble on pool though.
