Wow!!!!
Very nice, the picture sharing thing looks great. Although worried that this would be very easily damaged.
Also, wouldn't the credit cards need to be a special type of card for the screen to read?
Also the ability of a on screen keyboard used on this as well would be neat.

Credit cards can be read by laying them along any suitable reader. Anything that can read the magnetic info. I would expect something more secure to be developed though.
Given the treatment out tablet PC's get, i think it will, or can, be tough enough.
Ever tried the sledge hammer on toughened glass challenge. Scary stuff!
I would expect a virtual keyboard will definitely exist. Ever tried one of these?

I suspect handwriting recognition will be more likely though Dave. like this!

Darn technology eh?
Back on topic, this computer seems to be more aimed at "business" rather than a home computer. Anyone agree?

seems to be more of a way of presenting and marketing than an actual useful machine.

Well, i see it as a great replacement for the coffee table!
The PC is already the centre of home entertainment for many, i am a particular fan of this.
I admit i am also biased as i have adopted the freedom of the pen as a much more powerful, effecient and intuitive method of operation than the mouse.
Already we can record a TV show we are not at home to see via our mobile, and can stop outside the house to download it onto a player, to take and watch wherever we like.
Likewise, if our phone is in the house we can send pictures to the PC, and control the image browser as we flick through them displayed on the TV.
The integration is already there, its the completely natural user interface that this new concept provides.

I feel the most important issue here is... is it any good as a coffee table? If not, I'd rather have a separate computer and coffee table. Accidents and coffee tables go hand in hand, and if a £10,000 piece of kit breaks when i knock my drink over on it, I'd want my money back!

Imagine if you spilled your dinner over it, the screen would read it and give you the ingredients of another one, and show you the supermarket selling it the cheapest!
