Where do you get this info?
He started 32 out of 38 league games last season, and 34 the season before that.
And Massimo Moratti pretty much begged him to stay at Inter when he was so close to joining Al-Ittihad (proof below).

lol, alright. Real Madrid didn't let him go for no reason. I agree with people who say hes best his best, ofcourse he is. But in his prime he wasn't an underrated player, maybe overrated to an extent but certainly not underrated.
All Inter Milin have won with him there is Seria A which tbh ain't an achievement when AC Milin are so woeful in the league in recent years and well Roma look what Utd did to them last season....
The rest of the teams are no hopers, a fallen Juventus and Lazio make up for a one team league...
But wait what did he win while he was in his prime and Real Madrid days? Oh thats right numerous La Liga titles, Copa Del Rey(s), and The Champions League!!!!!!
So please hush dear and face the facts, Figo is past his best and isn't underrated...
Thanks for reading, now toddle off.

Oooh, at last... a post that's actually worth reading. j/k
I'll try and refrain from taking the mick in my response to this one.
And you're right, they didn't. They sold him at the time they were trying to rebuild their squad and get rid of their 'Galacticos' image.
You might have misunderstood me before. I'm not saying he isn't past his best. It's obvious to anyone who's followed his career, his best years were his Barca and early Real years (especially Barca where he linked up so well with Kluivert and Rivaldo). I agree he wasn't underrated in those years, too.
The problem is now. These days he gets compared with players like Rui Costa, Valeron and Stelios (who ARE all pretty awful now), when he's actually still on a similar level to Scholes, Guti and Deco (all past their best, but still great players).
Despite being past his best, he's still a much better player than many people give him credit for - he's underrated.

I don't entirely agree with your assumptions about Serie A either. Yes, the top of the table doesn't have the same quality as the Prem these days, but the mid-table is every bit as good, and the lower end is quite a bit stronger.
Now, comparing what Figo won with Madrid and what he's won more recently with Inter doesn't show the whole picture.
Galactico era Real had easily the best squad in Europe at the time... present day Inter, while they are strong, don't have the same luxury, which is maybe a reason for the lower silverware count.
Same with Portugal. They didn't win a thing. That's much more a reflection on the performance of the team as a whole, than Figo as an individual.
Figo's Inter team did however set a new European record of 17 straight wins last season... All I'm saying by that is you can use stats to 'prove' anything.
So in conclusion... yes you're right, and no you're wrong.

Seria A has no where near the depth of La Liga or the Premiership.
Scholes and Guti can't even make their 1st team regularly.
How old is Figo now? Their was talk of him moving to America for one last massive pay day.
Inter Milan are carried by Ibra though.

let's be honest here though lewis, WInning the La Liga wasn' primaly down to him was it?, Or when Real Madrid won the champions league, It wasn't Figo who won it single handedly was it?. He is past his best but he is still by far one of the best players still playing football, I would prefer figo in my team than quite afew of these 'great' players who are playing now..

I never said Figo won us the La Liga or Champions League single handley tbh he was average at Real Madrid.
Hence why we're still winning titles even though hes departed.
But don't get me wrong, hes a good player. But not on the same level as Zidane who for me is the best player ever.

ooh you areeeee! Phwooooaaarrrrrr <3
You given her the old removal of her posting rights?
Shes been pee'ing in the wind for some time now.
Anywaaaay back onto the topic, I think Carragher is one of the most underrated Cb's in the World. Hes always sold at the back and rarely has a lapse of concentration. Only downside is his lack of pace and temperament.

Agree on Carragher. We'll just have to agree to disagree on Figo, though.
He's not going anywhere now. Decided to finish this season with Inter (maybe one more?) then take on a coaching role or something.

Ohhhh not more about Figo please.
I'll be able to write an essay on him soon
Yeah a coaching role would be good, maybe he could work with the England squad too.

And I promise I won't mention a certain former Portuguese international ever again... ever!
(Disclaimer: This statement is not admissable as evidence in a court of law.)
