I just wondered when funkypool started and who were the first members and what other non recent changes were made.

Well i think that Nick was the first ever member....
But the first of all was admin.

Tournaments introduced!
Forum created!
US games were introduced!

I remember when the forum was first out...nicknax went mad and posted about 300 posts in under a week

+ Admin is simply an account used by the admin of the site to test certain things before they are introduced. Tends to pop up when things such as 1st ever tourny, or 1st ever 9 ball was introduced...Nick and Simon decided that about 50 games of testing were needed for 9 ball...took 5 to realise it was fine but much longer to resist long enough to close the game window

Another very big development of course was snooker.

just woundering on pool shark did golden breaks exist?

Yes golden breaks have always been part of the site, as a way of encouraging strong breaks.

There didn't used to be any recognition for it other than what the result message used to say.

There used to be only the one Ranking table: Top 50 Ranked Players (which was UK 8 ball)

Then this grew to 3 tables, ranking, tourny wins + most wins. Raiden holds the record of being the only player to be top off all ranking tables on the site. (Wouldn't be if his username started with a T as I was ranked at 100.0 at the same time and it annoyed me that he'd beaten me by 1 letter )

It is only reletively recently that a ranking table for golden breaks has been created, along with run outs and seven ballings. This were also not a recognised acheivement when I joined the site
