New practice layouts on 9 ball.

Forum changes:
Speed improvements when loading forum pages. Also forum threads are limited to 2000 posts (it's not a problem now but it could be in the future). Old threads cannot be added to (if more than 6 months since last update).

And a few minor fixes related to offline mail.

It'll mess up Fun and Games quite a bit in the space of a month.

Well the amount of people that post up to the max, then needing to create another thread on the subject

I agree Dave. Gonna make the forums slighly untidy, although I think it's something to with memory!

Extremely long threads are slow to load and display, hence put un-needed strain on the server.

There's only about 15 threads that have ever reached exceeded this limit, considering this is thread number 11,128 it won't have much of an impact.

The creator of thread 2 can always link back to the previous thread if required.

Does that mean the 'OLD' threads are going to be left where they are then? Just wondering, as a few of us would like the Poem thread (old one) To be kept.

Not sure jack !

We wont delete any old threads with the possible exception of the very large general chat thread which had 15,000+ posts.
