I searched for the name 'god' and have noticed that it is a banned user. I have asked before and been told that it isn't do-able at the moment. but will there ever be a time when user names are recycled and banned names brought back.

they should just get deleted yes soon as they are banned it would be good if you could use it again but will the admins do that it would take alot of there time removing them fully of the game.

and how much people get banned on this game it would take about 10 mods/admins lol.

Its very unlikely banned names would be brought back into use for obvious reasons, however there has been much chat before about unused names/accounts.

Rather than go over the details again, the basic idea would be after about a year of inactivity a reminder email could be auto-sent, then if the user doesn't log in within a month or so to keep their account active then the username is avaliable to be re-used.

I was thinking that if any acount that hasen't been used in over 2 years be reactivated and a warning e-mail sent. Any member that is banned be re-activated after a year. But they should also reserve names to be used for moderators and/or for those who have been with the game for a long time and have played a lot of games, for instence the first person to win a million games should get the option of being called god or what ever they want, although they would have to play a lot and become a nerd with no friends.

Most member names that are banned are because they are unsuitable, and the ones that are not are kept banned so that the mods can keep an eye out for them. However, like Spinner said, it would be a good idea to allow usernames that have been inactive for a year or so back into the system, so that they can be reused.

I also think that its a good idea that e-mails be sent to a user when a ban of 3 months or greater uis handed out. I once went to work on a saturday and sunday came to play this and found i was banned on the monday but no one would tell me why, so an e-mail sent to my e-mail address saying why i was banned would have been a good idea.
