Site will run slow for about 2-3 minutes after restart, after all 200+ people are simultaneously downloading a new game client.

You're going to have to restart your machine. There's absolutely zero server lag and gameplay is unchanged.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

At the risk of sounding like I'm at an award ceremony I'd like to in turn thank all the moderating team, as they have kept the site running very smoothly and professionally. Due to this I can in turn spend most my time time working on new features as opposed to looking after other issues. So a big thanks from me to all the admin and moderators!!
