What did you mean by it has been cut? LOL. I don't understand. And also there are soooo many different ways to do a GB it's unreal XD. I go for the way you feel is right method and sticking to it. XD. I can do it 2 different ways but haven't had any luck recently...mainly because I haven't played in a while and also haven't been going for GB's.

Gb's require LUCK theres not one shot that pulls them off everytime!

There used to be a golden break shot on UK 8Ball which meant anyone could get golden breaks, this required the same skill as potting the white ball into a pocket and is very well documented.

That brought about the randomisation of the rack we have now, which means there can be no "golden break shot" anymore. However, there are shots which you can use to break the rack as much as possible in similar ways. These can definitely improve your chances of aquiring a golden break.

it took around 1500 to 2000 games to get the break right. split down the middle, 1750. 1049 games. this is not including the time i spent learning the game and when i tried breaking for other things like run outs and 7 ballings. i give it around 500 games ive tried to gb. 30 in 500 is a success rate of around 17 percent, or 1 in 6 games. again, i dont break in all of them. but whose counting anyway? ""


and with only 1 gb to your track record, i doubt you are much of a believer of there being a shot for it. if you like come to my table. ill give you some lessons on the technique.
