I see that "the funky blues club" is rarely used im just wandering does this take up much spaces on the server which could be used for other things such as added games or etc.

Well, funkypool is busy at peak times, and it's always handy to have another room just in case they all fill up.

Hi, what if one day, so many people are on funkypool that every single room is filled up, what happens to those who log in? They won't have any rooms to be directed to when they log in since they will all be filled up...?

Well think about it, the garage is just as unpopular...the only reason it's not mentioned is because the majority of the FJ's hang around there on occaision.

Anyone remember the tournament room? now that was useless!

There's no actual limit on the number of chat rooms, so it's not actually taking up space.

However if there's a room that's never used I guess it may as well be removed.

But what would happen if one day there are so many people on funkypool and all the chat rooms are used up... (I do realise the chances of that are happening are almost, never!) The users who log in, where will they be directed to since all the rooms are used up?

Can't we just change the name of the room to perhaps get more people in there?

I like the idea of 1_eye's room, or John's Jolly Palace?

Why remove them if they're not taking up any space?

Personally I don't come here to "chat" in rooms therefore occasionally I like to go to an empty room because that way I can see announcements from the other side of the real room I'm in (e.g you have a bye) without loads of inane "any fit girlz wanna msn?" gibberish all over place blocking the only useful information coming from the message window!

On that score is there any way you can change which room you're defaulted to when you first log in because I'd set mine to one these rooms.

Rather than delete the rooms, why not just make them more useful to the users? Something like a 'Help Room', where a user can go to seek gameplay or technical help from an online moderator/admin, and some kind of alert the moderators to signal that there is someone in that room, so they can assist the user ASAP. It might also decrease the number of PM's that the mods receive, making their lives easier as well.

There are some downsides to this (misuse of the room, moderator availability etc), but I reckon it could help the many users that don't use the forums
