Look at this post myfriendfats, and take note. This is why i never really take part in your threads, i find you both arrogent and obtuse, and there is no need for you to be either.

Although i do like this idea, i think it might make sense, and maybe something worth looking at.

I know what you mean but I am who I am and sometimes I get out of bed on the wrong side but I'm not a bad person, just misunderstood and quite opinionated at times.

One of the things that tends to wind me up is when I make a good point and then someone comes along, misrepresents what I say and counters with something which doesn't make sense. I find it hard to bite my tongue.

Anyway, facts are facts and I know I speak for a silent section of users because they tell me so in games and at the end of the day all I'm doing is striving to help improve funkypool for the long run and for all users with useful suggestions.

Increasing the number of characters in forum posts for example would avoid double posts and encourage better in depth discussion.

myfriendfats - believe me of all people i understand what you mean. but there is never a need to disrespect people, now matter which side of the bed you get out of.

The effect it has is that people automatically, even subconsciously, think everything you write has no thought behind it.

Whatever you do dont bite your tongue, just take the time to re-read what you write and make sure there is nothing there for people to pick on, its worth it believe me

But enough of that and back to the thread;

Your suggestion of waiting a while before bringing the subject back is a very good one. At the moment many people are understandably annoyed at losing the pro games, and others are very defensive of change to their preferred type.

Leave it a month or so and try again. Opinions change constantly, its one of the many great things about the site.

Believe me I do get embarrassed when I read back some of the things I write, especially when I disrespect people on the forum and more often than not I hit "enter" before reading what I've put.

I will count to 10 before pressing "send" in future and I apologise to squeezy for the earlier snipe (which I sort of did in a roundabout way in the post afterwards).
