I strongly doubt the pro games will make a comeback.

What is this daily marathon tournament? Well if I was to pick the best time for everyone, I would say this tournament should be available to join roughly 19:00pm.

More mini-golf holes would be a great idea too!

I do believe that now the pro tables have gone, it's a lot more better because there was no one at all at any time playing 9 ball US pro or 8 ball US pro, therefore it's a good subtraction to the games.

It was only a matter of time before it happened. It was almost impossible trying to get a game. I don't even see why the stats should be carried forward. The game is dead. If the stats get merged then this does not give a true reflection on the 8 and 9ball games that we are left with.

but you have to remember all the achievements made by some users quick_pot most notabley, he has most of his tournament wins on there

I think i speak on behalf of a lot of users, i myself worked very hard on working my rank up to pro on both pro games, there may not have been much demand for the pro games, but people only didnt play them becuase of the smaller tables. I have just logged on to see 2/3 games i was pro at dissapear and am now seriously considering leaving the site.

I think it is well out of order that they got rid of them! When both existed there was a choice, i for one hate the new US versions as they're too much like UK. The pro versions were a completely different story and were much more entertaining and a change from UK which is why i enjoyed playin them MORE then UK. If you didnt want to play the pro versions, then play the easier versions now though there is no choice for the people who prefer the pro versions.

Is this really fair? I think they shouldve put a poll in the forum where we could vote whether to keep it or not, there is no replacement for US Pro

I totally agree with jedi, a poll would've been a better and fairer way to decide, although I think that people would've voted to keep it but it would still of been as unpopular as what it was.

This has been a subject of discussion for many months now.

The decision was certainly not made without user involvement!

The simple facts are that virtually no-one was playing the games anymore. Regardless of how many may have voted for them, its how many play that counts.

A vote wasn't needed here..... the numbers of people who played the pro games spoke for themselves and could be seen as a type of vote anyway


However.... i do think that voting is an excellent idea for valid debates.

It's about time they was gone, good riddance. RIP
