On a personal note, My daughter is just 4 and the brief thought of what i would feel like is nothing compared to what the parents and madeleine are going through after 12 days of what must be pure hell

I too feel for them, but think of how frightened a little 4 year old girl is feeling.

The police inverstigation has just been ridiculous! What hope has the poor girl got when the authorities couldn't organise a pee up in a pub? I hope something will be done about this.

And i hope that poor girl doesn't or hasn't suffered too much.

I cant think what the little girls family is going through the last week or two, my thoughts go out to the family and friends of Madeleine McCann. We all hope that she is found safe and alive as this is a big situation. I wonder why the "kidnaper" would do this? I hope he is very badly punished as most of us here do.

Its nice to see alot of people trying to help out with the situation and we have all just got to think postive about the little girl.

Its not looking good shes been gone two weeks today, but we have all got think to positve.

Yeah. We all have to be positive, and hope she will be returned home safe and well, the longer this goes on, the harder it will be for the family to cope.

I know this is a nice thread, and although I hope for a safe return, let's be honest. The chances of finding her are minimal.

It takes weeks to find someone who CAN'T have left the country in England. It'll be like finding a needle in a haystack on the continent.

However, it is promising to hear that they have some leads (the most used sentence ever!) and they're following them up.

Thoughts go out to her family, and I hope I'm proved wrong.
