not sure if this has been suggested before but how about an announcement for 7 ballings in us 8ball and uk games. we have everything else run outs, golden breaks etc.

well if you take a look on snooker then you will find an announcement regularly for the break so why not on here?

yep thats true i like the idea of 7baller annoucements. Snooker gives you an annoucement if you get a break over 30 and that could be only 8 balls potted as well.

mm ye i think there should b an announcement for them. because they are something to b proud of. and if ppl want more stuff on there history then they should hav an announcement for it

easy way of doing it, have an option to turn certain announcments off, i.e the 7 balling one if you dont like it, but i think you shuld have the option

Hey there, adidas I understand your point, but do you not think there are far too many seven ballings going on every minute? It'd block your whole screen up and announcements would be setting off far too ofen and an announcement won't be looked at often because there would be so many...lets all keep announcements the way they are and be noiced for our achievements instead of having a screen packed with announcements, to me they are prefectly fine the way they are

The 7 balling isn't exactly a great acheivement compared to run-outs and GB's. They happen a lot, just look at the UK rankings table for 7 ballings....and that's just one game!!!

Well, 7 ballings are by far the most common of "achievements", and chat would definitely be interrupted more often.

However, a 7 balling is still impressive and despite their being common, many thousands of players have yet to get one.

I would suggest that before adding 7 ballings to the announcements, there should be an option to "supress user achievement announcements".

That way people who dont want their chat flooded have the option to turn them off.

Good call spinner, we can do this with entry/exit messages, but what would happen if we had this 'announcement' supress option, we would forget to join tournies....and most importantly, we wouldn't know when the server restarts!

By "supress user achievement announcements". I intended to still leave all others like tournament info and admin announcements.

Hey I think this could be a little suggestion because people like to be recognised for their "achievements"for 7 ballings... Basically, If people really do want announcements for their seven ballings I think there should be an announcement for a person for every 20 seven-ballings they get. So a person just joins as a member, he gets to his 20th seven balling, an announcement should come up saying something like "test1 reached their first 20 seven ballings!"...and if a person reaches his 40th seven balling the announcements should say "test2 reached their second set of seven ballings!" (Just a little suggestion)

What does everyone think of that...? I guess it would satisfy other users
