I dont know if this has been suggested before but i would like to suggest a draw button. if two opponents were in a game and they had to leave, or a tournament invite came up, the player or players that are leaving could decide to force a draw.one opponent would press the button and the other opponent would approve, now the player recieving the request doesnt have to accept the draw, if the draw was accepted they player, players leaving would not lose points.

Its a good idea. But how many players would actually use it?

I would use it!!
But what if the other oponett is up himself and doesnt want to accept??
Mabye when a tournament match comes up and one or more players in a current game is invovled in the tournament, both players get the option to draw but only one has to choose the option for it to be a draw....but only in the tournaments

Why would a player have to be up himself?
I think this would not be a good idea, at the end of the day, you can see when the tourny is gonna start, it's common sense that you might get an invite while playing a game. You can check the tournement page to see how long you have left! Just a thought.

yep have to agree with you jon, if you have entered a torny which is not far of starting you play a game at your own risk. sensible thing to do is wait in members bar or chat room untill invite arrives

i think it is a good idea but, its only common sence not to play ranked games when the tourny is running,to me if an invite comes up its your fault for being dull!!!

How would you feel if you had just enough time to pot the black, when the other player opts for a draw and leaves? It would have to be a joint decision or it would be abused.
The draw option is a good idea, but it seems a lot to do just for the odd occasion when two players have entered a ranked game too close to a tourny round.

martin_blank- you said "how would you feel if you had just enough time to pot the black, when the other player opts for a draw and leaves?" snowman did say that the person who opts for a draw, his/her opponent would have to approve of it, therefore if he opts for it the opponent doesn't have to approve and if the player who wanted a draw doesnt take his shot to waste his/her time it'll be their fault and they'll eventually get a random shot time limit penalty

And also I doubt the decision will be abused if the opponent does not approve.

Its been suggested a fair bit especially over on snooker, and i dont see a problem with this.
Its one of those things that can be added, and wont affect anyone at all unless they need it.
You would simply have an accept/decline draw button exactly the same as accept/decline invite.

Yes, thats basically what I tried to explain above lol, it's a good idea I do agree with it. Not agreeing to draw with your opponent wouldn't and shouldn't be taken into abuse, if the person who disapproves of the draw feels he/she can win he/she should go for it.

I just do not see the point in a draw..
You come here to have fun and a laugh.
just finish the game and have another thats where challenges start!

When a player gets invited into a tournment during a game the game should decide who's closest to winning by the number of balls they potted, & if that number is the same for both players the game should make it a mandatory draw.
