I live in Scotland but i think it will be a bad idea for us to go fully independent. I would prefer to be called british.

There would indeed.

I just dont think the Scottish government would be able to handle full independence too well. There wold be a chance that the country would simply fall apart (metaphorically!)

You can't! I might not be able to move if that happens. Haha.
It will happen in the future. However, Scots will always be 'British' due to the fact that the entire Island our countries are in is Britain.
I think the whole Idea of the Scottish and Welsh assemblies was to eventually break down the dependency on the link between our countries.

Note: This is all my own opinion, purely based on what little knowledge I have in my head, ergo, could well be wrong.

Also, Doc. It wouldn't happen overnight anyway. If/when it does happen there will be so much planning before hand that it can't really not be a smooth and successful transition.

One of the strongest economies in the world, highest standards of living, coolest place to live..

I think Scotland should do alright!

Maybe Scotland's rugby team will improve if it gets independence

Scotland won't go solo, i think there is enough enough of them with common sense, the only reason half of people vote SNP is because they hate Blair so much. Alot of them can't bring themselves to vote Tory (like me) because they are a bunch of buggas (or was)

The majority of people i have spoken to, both on here and from my visit to Scotland aren't to keen on Scotland becoming independent, however we shall just leave true feelings to votes, because they are what matter!

I don't think anyone's independence has been taken away from anyone magic. Scottish people still get to vote, they still get to represent themselves in parliment.

How would you feel if i sat here and said the Irish thing is a joke? Not nice really is it?
