Hey all, on my home computer i have the save ID option turned on, but yet i still find myself having to type in my username and password every now and then.

Anyone else experiencing this?

i have the same problem as you Dave i seriously thought it was just this computer being awkward.

Are you using firefox?

no and before you ask i have never installed firefox.

OK i was just gonna say to Dave, if you are using firefox go into tools/options/pruivacy and under private data there a box which may be ticked which clears private data every time you close the browser.

I leave it ticked anyway. Trust Noone!

Also, tools/options/security then click on show passwords.

No, i'm not using firefox, and there wasn't the options to show passwords Greg.

I'm soo lazy, but it should work.

Its a security setting Dave, or more specifically a cookie.

Check in the internet options that cookies are enabled, and clear out your cache(history) to make sure you have a fresh one.

That's done it, cheers for help guys.

Nah, when you log on from a different computer it resets the option.

Computers being awkward???????

WELL..... I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BEFORE

I log in from three different computers and i have the remember id option selected on all three, and it hasnt ever forgotten them in all the time i've had then selected...

Even if i log off and onto a different name it remembers them on whatever computer i use next..

If that makes sense lol

That's not true, i logged onto pool today from college, i come home and the ID is remembered.
