Every time you start a new page, you begin a new topic. As suggested by the first person to post on that page (they may have to edit if they didn't initially realise)

And once the page ends, the topic is finished indefinitely!

I think he did, yea, also after the 1st two killings he went home to check his e-mails and type up what he'd done, then went out and finished his spree.
