Yes i realise it needed a wash it has been cleaned since honest lol

Well, i wouldnt worry Steph, it looks cool!

I like to see a care thats used by a driver to drive, rather than ornament.

One thing i HAVE to rant about is the seemingly amazing gullibility of (mostly young) drivers to spend a fortune on pre-burst exhausts 'cause they thing they will sound powerful and "kewl".

If you want a powerful cool sounding engine, get a 9.8 kubota.. Lovely..

But, back to cars. Eventually found a pic online of my fist car (well, not mine obviously, but one the same). A 1982 Mitsibishi Sapporo, 2.0 Supercharged and sounded like a 2stroke motorbike tuned to a powerband when it revved up, so it could move!

Sold it for £400 when i was 18. Was the right thing to do at the time (I needed something with more room) but i wish i still had it now.

Edit - mine didnt have the goofy spotlights at the bottom!

lol
mines not just a backbox (not just for sound) its the full system manifold/de cat so i got improved performance, so thats why i do it.

lol and that comment about getting a 9.8litre at the age of 19 is laughable, couldn't get insured thats why some people do what i have done.

But i must admit im not into the "boy racers" that have like 1litre corsa's for example and put the loudest backbox they can get put on it.
Huge alloys without doing the maths that are just going to chuck their speedo and maybe even gear ratios out.

anyway nice MITSI! and yeah i reckon it does go! supercharged 2.0 very nice!

This is what i use to get around!

Don't need a car where i live, and i couldn't afford both a car and mortgage with a 2 year old, not with my lifestyle. I suppose i will have to drive one day.

Nice one Magic! Perfect for cruising the N17...

Just thinking, that car of mine was £175 to insure, only 3rd party of course, when i was 17. The Renault 18 i got next was about double that due to being an estate!

I'd imagine thats uninsurable for a 17year old now?

(and i drove the vehicle with the 9.8 litre engine when i was 17, i just didnt mention it was in a Magirus-Deutz site dump truck. Still sounded beautiful though.)

Just guzzles alot of gas, and kills the earth! Not that i'm all innocent.

I look forward to more healthier fuels, shame the goverment ain't doing more.

Sorry anyhow, back to thread. My father-in-law drives an Audi, which i really like. It's a 1.9 turbo diesel, and is a dark shiney pink colour.

When i drive i want a Lada, cause by that time they will be cool!

Nowadays, 17 year olds can't get insured for a car with an engine bigger than a washing machine motor!
