jess dear i never said you didn't but that's the difference from seing what appears and your told is a ghost on tv rather than seing it for yourself.

lol, orbs are considered balls of energy often associated with paranormal activity, but they can often be confused with bugs, or dust set alight.

Heh. taking pictures at an abandoned half demolished monestary, Waverley Abbey as seen in 28 Days Later, one night we got hundreds of orbs in each picture.

I firmly believe in ghosts.

A couple years ago, I was sitting with a childhood friend in her father's office. She was sitting in his chair, and I was sitting in the couch opposite. Both of these are on opposite sides of the door in the room. We were talking, and suddenly, the door opened, all on its own. This door is solid oak and very heavy, and the latch is firm too. It opened slowly, almost like air from the AC pushed it or something, which is what we thought at first. We kind of looked at it, then a couple seconds later, the hair stood up on the back of my neck and the light switched off. The light is a floor lamp that stands next to the couch I was on, but it was on the other side from where I was sitting and there was no way I could have reached over and turned it off. We freaked out a little, and she went to turn the light on, but it wouldn't work, so we ran out of there really quick, and as soon as we crossed the threshold, the light switched back on.

Needless to say, we were just a wee bit freaked out, but I've never had something like that happen to me and it's something I can't explain. Later that day, I went online and looked up some information to her house, and apparently back in 1993 a husband and his wife lived there, and the wife died of lung cancer. Dunno what you all make of this, but it's reason enough for me that some paranormal happened, even if it wasn't an actualy ghost.

By the way, the American TV show "Ghost Hunters" is really good. They try to disprove something they catch on camera before they count it as evidence.

i watch that show alot, it's very intertaining and informative. and i like the way they go about trying to disprove something.

about 15 yrs ago just finished my 12 night shift drove home to pick up what was then my wife to take her to work, on the way she said to me that all the small washing needed to go in the tumble dryer { eg, socks and that } when i got home i done me usual thing made a cuppa then sat down with me racing post to pick out some forcast on the greyhounds after about 30 mins i remembered the washing had to be dried i walked into the kitchen expecting to find the clothes basket but it was not there, then i remember seeing it before i went to work it was behind the door in our bedroom upstairs, i walked out of the kitchen only to find the clothes basket come bouncing down the stairs. "did i jump" lmao did i, it was not the last 1 either we had another thing a couple of days later which i will tell another time

Freaky!

it was a friday night i was at work so my {ex]wifes sister came to sleep over with her 3 children, when her children where in bed they never got up during the night always slept through to the morning, my {ex}wife and sister went up to bed about 1 ish her sister in spare room with the kids my ex in our room, about half hour after they went to bed the spare room door opened and then shut someone walked round the room then back out again, thinking it was my ex checking on the kids her sister just laid there and went to sleep, the following morning she ask my ex as to why she came into the bedroom and got the reply i didnt ? well someone did she said and told my ex what had happened.
that house was very spooky, it was built with rest of the estate on an old army garrison site.

we had a picture of a tiger on the wall in frontroom my ex loved tigers, we went out one night only to come home to find picture was missing of the wall ? as we turned around we see broken glass on the floor otherside of the frontroom we walked over and there was the picture behind the radiator smashed to pieces ?
that was certainly not a house to be in on your own at night
