People have asked if I can combine two pictures into one. For loved ones, so they have thier picture and thier loved ones in one. If you know what I mean, please explain how to do it. Thanks.

hunter, Images are as unique as Fingerprints, Each one has different processes... normally I would just give you the 1,2,3 ... but to merge 2 pics and make it look good it take a colour match, A hue match and a degredation comparison so its not really fair to say "do this, Do that" cos it may not be right for your 2 pics

I don't know. When you see the pictures combined, it's like one picture on top of another and the top one is see through. Get me?

yes thats a Tranposition... Its a merge... oki i can tell you what to use and how to do it

but you understand that it will be basic


Use photoshop or PaintShop Pro (Your choice)

Open a picture, That will be automatically Single Layer... Open the second picture and copy it to your buffer... Paste as "NEW LAYER" to the first picture, That will give you Layer 1 and Layer 2 , Make the Transparency of Layer 2 50% and there you have a Transposed Image... all you need to do now Is merge the 2... or simply save as a JPG (Jpg doesnt handle layers so it will merge it for you)

Where is buffer in photoshop?

buffer is not in Photoshop its in windows...
right click and paste will paste the pic

anything you Right click and copy or (Edit > Copy)

Goes into a buffer

Text, Pics, Files etc....

Right click paste or (Edit > Paste) will empty the buffer to the screen depending on the App

I'm in microsoft photo editor and i can get to the bit when to transparent, but doing it goes all weird. I can't go any further.
