What happens if you pot the black and the white on the break????? I done it on the practice table and was just wondering.

Funnily enough somebody did exactly that against me in a speed tourny game today.

It took me a few seconds to get my head together and work out whether I was through or out.

sorry if this is irrelant but i think golden breaks should be turned into a loss and it's unfair that someone losses a frame because of one lucky shot.

a loss no way some people practice for a long time trying to find a spot for a gb

I dont think its lucky if you do a golden break i think its skill an i did it in a ranked game against somebody potting white an black an lost

I think it's the ultimate hit and hope, and doesn't deserve any points.

Neither should it lose you points though.

I'd like the black to be respotted and the game continue.

Now that the UK rack has been properly randomized, getting a GB is back to what it should be, pure luck.

There used to be a "GB Shot", very well known, which meant you could get a GB every time. Some people thought this was a "skill", however, it required no more skill than lining up and potting the white ball into a pocket.

GB's exist to help ensure people do a nice powerful break.
