Hi everyone!

I have recently found this new program.. its like a desktop inside your browser. It comes with almost everything you need. Notedpad, open office, email (including an account aswell as accessing your other accounts with pop), msn, google/yahoo search (dont work properly yet) and more! Find it at http://www.desktoptwo.com .

Just thought i would share it with you all!

Reminds me a lot of eyeos, looks "prettier" though

If i cant access the VPN, I have used thinkfree when on the move, as it fully supports Microsoft and PDF formats. Will give this a go though.

Edit - ok, maybe i wont! Security went mental when i tried using it. Oh well..

Thanks for that spinner, just trying out those two now. I also came across youos yesterday, not quite as good as desktop two in my mind though.

Im going to post all the decent Online OS's I can find.

Desktop Two,
YouOS,
FlyakiteOSX (made to look like mac OSX),
Goowy (wow its great)

I have found something similar to what you have spinner. http://www.ajax13.com has programs with support for microsoft office applications, it also has music to listen to, all with no sign up needed. One problem, you need firefox for it to work.

Plyed a little with desktoptwo now i'm at home. Nice idea, and if they could sort the securty issues which are getting them corporate blocks, they will be on to a winner.

Google also offer a very simple but effective service http://docs.google.com/

Be interesting to see them enter the virtual desktop arena

I have used google docs before. Had to use it for homework one time because on this laptop, microsoft office runs so slow. Just searched into google "online word processor" and there I had it they also have an online spreadsheet tool which is quite useful!
