Do posts/threads stay on here forever and if they aren't are they deleted?

I was just thinking though about all of the capped threads..would they be deleted?

There is no need to delete threads. Leaving them there lets users search them for info.

It could be that there is a limit on storage space, in which case the oldest threads would "drop off". Dont think we're close to that yet tho

Earlier though there was a thread in which a user ranted against a mod. All the comments were removed and replaced with one comment explaining the intent of the thread. Which was capped, incidentally! So this is also possible?

Oh right, If for example there was like millions of threads would it slow down the actual game or loading up the home page or not?

It is certainly possible, but extremely rare for threads to be removed, and in the recent case you mention i chose to do so because of the volume of innapropriate and false accusiations included (it would have taken a long time to edit them all, time i did not have) - and replace it with a thread explaining the situation.

Funkypool is very open and the most that usually happens is for a thread to be capped, so people can still read back what happened.

The volume of threads etc doesn't affect the load-times, since only a few are displayed on each page.
