We all at some stage miss out on joining a tournament someimes by seconds and we REALY wanted to play in it.

What if we created a WAITING LIST where during the 1st round only, if you had not joined the tournament originaly, You can join the waiting list and if someone has gone through on a bye because there oponett was not there, the 1st person on the waiting list will be given something like one minitueto respond.

Or even if was the 1st 5 or 10 people who is on "the list" gets the message, the 1st person on the list to respond will get to play.

Its just so people cant just cruise into the later rounds.

A month ago, I got into the semi finals all on BYES as my oponetts were not loged in so they were DQ'd

It sounds crumby I know but do you like it??

Oh. it would only apply in the 1st round with getting on the list and then having the "2nd chance"

This is what I suggested as an alternative to the Round Robin Tourney idea, and i think it could work well.

Each game is given 22 minutes, so sacrificing one of those for the opportunity to play would be a fair compromise IMO.
