well here's the idea seem as though everytime it's tournament time everyone enters so i thought if there was more us 8 pro ball tournaments then maybe people will start to play us 8 ball pro more often because at this preset moment it's virtually impossible to get a game and if this goes ahead then hopefully people will start to get a game more often.
if anyone thinks it's a good idea then feel free to post.

i like the idea i would like to see more 8 ball pro tournaments and more 8 ball us pro games but at the end of the day like nicks pointed out more like the 8 ball us games than the pro ones


so as much as you or me or anybody else would like to see more pro games its not gunna happen because more people prefer the new games

well what if there was an extra speed tournament say us8pro one day then us9pro the next. or even one more extra of the pro tournaments i agree with allornothing .i prefer the old us games more skill was needed to win.
where as now the new us9 is a bit of a joke so many players just fluke there wins can be annoying .
i know it is part of the game but was harder to do so on the old ones.
so by possibly having that extra one or 2 tournaments a day might make more poeple play us pro games more and not make getting rank up impossible just about.

What needs to happen is that the schedule needs to be jumbled up a bit so that every time I play a 9 ball tourny I'm not thinking about missing the next 8 ball. With the UK (which is a different game after all) having a seperate schedule of say a tourny every 2 hours to keep those people happy, we could have a tourny every hour of US 8 and 9 ball, big and small table and speed and lengthy tournys all jumbled up and more exciting!

I for one am not 100% happy at having the only US 8 ball pro tournys at 12pm and 12am and the only 9 ball pro at 2pm and 2am.

i agree we need more pro tournys less flukey more fun

but you are going to get players that are flukey no matter what game you play .
just with the us pro games it is harder for them to fluke the win.
2us8 pro tounies a day is not really fair on people who prefer the pro tournies. i say 4 is a good amount to have really one speed one and a basic first to 2

i 100 percent agree with you myfriendsfat there should be more us 8 pro tournaments because the times are abit of a joke and i also think the structure of the tournaments should be changed.and as _psmon_ said us 8 ball pro requires more skill.

It definitely requires more skill and the arguement that more people play small table isn't really fair (I think Nick did the %ages) because generally there are more people in the game where there is a tournament currently going on (I'm talking about the number of people available to play a ranking game outside of the tournament), and whenever I do manage to play a midday 8 ball pro tournament there are plenty of entrants and the round of 64 or 128 has to be played (the midnight one is different for obvious reasons).

With those points in mind I am more likely to go look for a ranking point game in the small table rooms because more people are there adding to the stats that the small game is played more EVEN THOUGH I PREFER THE PRO TABLES!!!
