Now, i understand that its tactical sometimes to go for the snooker shots in 9ball to try to foul out your partner. but do many people avoid the easy shots that are set up for you, in order to snooker your opponent. in one a game my opponent snookered after only his second shot, and just snookered the rest of the game. i can't even get angry, because its fair play, but sometimes i actually want to play the game. its frustrating when the other person has perfect shots set up, and they avoid them to just snooker you...
like i said i understand its fair, but is this many peoples techniques? or is it just rude...

No such thing as rude, just winning and losing.
I'm a big victim of slow play etc. I egt thick, take silly shot and lose. I deserve it though. So do you if you let it affect you.

It really makes me agree when I show the skill it takes to force 3 fouls from a player and they become abusive, calling me a cheat. If players want to aimlessly and moronically go for every pot, even when it makes no sense in terms of winning the game then it's up to them. But I don't expect abuse when trying to bring skill and tactics into it.

I don't mind people going for three snookers at all. It's good to play against a variety of styles.
I never go out looking to win by snookers, but if they happen to foul twice, then you'd be daft not going for a third.
Another good reason to snooker in 9ball is the attacking one. If you can slot the 1ball(for example) near the 9ball for a tap-in combo at the same time as ensuring you get a free shot, then it's well worth the snooker.
