I played a guy that shall remain nameless yesterday in UK 8 ball. With both of us being ranked over 800 I was expecting a close game and got exactly that. I was lucky and won 4-1 due to him having trouble with the black on 2 occasions. I decided to then go and play some 9 ball but when I told him this I was accused of winning and running, something he said he expected a newbie to do. It?s like he expected me to play him so he could get his points back. So my question to all you good folk out there is what do you do to avoid this happening? How do you excuse yourselves from games when you want to go play somebody or something else? Or was I just unlucky and got stuck with an idiot?! Thanks people

When did he want you to stop playing? When he had the lead? Childish attitude and best ignored.

As for the best way to excuse yourself from games - it probably helps to say 'last one' or similar before the start of your last frame.

i would not let it bother you m8 otherwise it will affect you each time you play someone, put it down to him being a bad looser

Unfortunately it's just one of those things Mr C, along with all the other niggly things that people do on here. Just like the sporting player who left my game last week as I was about to pot the black for a 7balling. People on here know you are a fair player so just play on! (and perhaps let me win once in a while...)
