My advice is if you feel like they have a clearence coming on why not try blocking one of the pockets they have balls around or just play for a safety shot maybe snooker.

To slow the white ball from being potted you can clench your butt cheeks. To stop the opponents ball going down you can wave your cursor infront of the pockets. Also when your ball is right on the edge of the pocked, shake your screen. Those are my secrets *Thumbs up*
