Hey all, wondering if anyone can help me.

I have made a banner on MX Director. And i want to be able to use it (for other forums, myspace etc) so i think i need to have it as a GIF.

BUT, when i do that, it comes up on an uploader that GIF is not supported by the image (or something like that)

So basically, how can i make it work?

What do you mean uploader?

Sounds really strange since .gif is supported by pretty much everything..

Can't you save it onto a file and save it as a .gif manually?

Well, basically i've made this, and when i export it it must be .avi .mov or .bmp

I tried saving it as a .GIF but then i go to an image uploader and it says the file is not supported by GIF.
I forgot to mention that this is an animated image.

If it's not animated just use any old converter and make it a common format.

Cant get any more common on the web than than .gif!

Just up loaded this one to imageshack and it works fine :

I would guess its Macromedia expoting something non-standard (not the most compliant software in the world!)

Upload the file somewhere and i'll take a look..
