I'd actually already been an admin for a month when this thread started.

I was in the role on trial, but due to my day-job commitments getting a little heavier than expected, I've asked to be
demoted back to moderator.

I think that you should stay as a admin and juts help out as a Admin when you can fit the time in.

well the diffence is a admin has more control over the site but moderator just does the basic things like boot people for offensive language etc... but generally moderators help to maintain the site running smoothly.
