hi,i was wondering could it be possible for some sort of code where people under a certain rank can't enter to have a game.if anyone agrees with this feel free the post

yeah i see what you mean and i like it , it is annoying when you just ask for over 750 and you get non stop players under 700 joining , would be a good feature to have in the future i think

but why should players have to play every one ?
surely there is nothing wrong with wanting to play the better players with higher or the same rank as you, instead of the so called "newbies".
and it aint excactly fair that people work hard to get rank just to loose 4points , to some one who smash and hopes.

It creates an unfair representation of your ability if you only play certain players.

Therefore making the rating system inaccurate.

Well if you dont play newbies then theres no chance of playing someone who restarted and losing loadsa points.

This is the oldest subject on the forum (have a look at the last page) and the end result is always the same and as squeezy said, everyone should play everyone.

Personally i think all games should be ranked and rank not visible till AFTER the game, so we get proper accurate rankings.

As usual, the "dont play newbies" thing has come up and everyone forgets that if you lose to a newbie you lose next to no rank due to the rank adjustment! (however you lose a lot of credit on the forum for makingyourself look like an idiot!)

spinner i am sorry but i have to disagree with you that all games should be ranked because you have to take into consideration people that just want a game with nothing really to lose.anyway back to the subject why is it if you make the game name example 740 plus you get people under that rank entering and refusing to leave.

yeah you lose next to nothing also gain next to nothing and credit on the forum i dont care about that, i joined the site to play pool no to debate about things on a forum, and as for looking like a fool and a idiot i dont care what any of you lot think, at the end of the days its a game.
If people wish to play the only higher ranked players then sure its down to them if they wont too.i have lost count the amount of times people refusde to play the lower ranked players / newbies (and you also get the non newbiews)and for all games to be ranked i dont agree as allornothing said people just come on for a few games and chill out after a hard day. not to get more stressed out with loosing rank

Well its been proven pretty conclusively (i played over 1000 games in a room called OVER 800 to do so) that almost everyone pays attention if you are polite.
