How to resize images for your user picture

Step 1:
Double click picture, it should open in Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer
Step 2:
Press Control-E, this should open the image for editing in Microsoft Paint
Step 3:
Press Image, Stretch/Skew to the amount you want, eg 25% would be 1/4 the size. Press OK.
Depp 4:
Press File, Save As and choose a new filename to save your smaller picture. File type can be either jpg or gif.
That's it, now you should be able to upload the file!
(Please note you should not use famous people for your actual photo)

An easier alternative is to use this very nice online image optimizer. Just enter your image size as 160 height and 120 width.
