depends if it is a Lite or not. If it's the original try and pay less. Buying either is a very good investment in entertainment though

I would say not such a good deal because chances are Nintendo DS's will drop in price with the popularity of psp's increasing.

Have you got figures to back up your point? As far as I am aware, the PSP has never even come close to matching the DS in sales

Well id rather have a psp than a ds anyday of the week and there will be more sales over christmas

and more when the ps3 comes out becuase it has two-way compatibility

So the 'popularity' of the psp is based on your own opinion. If i did the same, there would be 6 billion DS Lites in the world, and no-one would even look sideways at a Sony games console. Not that I'm biased at all

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) has broken records to become the fastest-selling games console of all time in the UK, according to figures.
More than 185,000 were sold in its first four days in UK shops, say official Chart-Track figures.

Rival handheld, the Nintendo DS, sold 87,000 in its launch week in March. The PSP sales account for about £33m.
