How's about a killer table? Here's how it would work: All players would be players, and all players would have their turn in rotation. When a player misses three shots (or 2 or 1 or 10, or whatever), they get no more shots. They don't have to become non-players; this would be irrelevant if they're not being allowed to take a shot. When only one player is left in line, that player becomes the winner. How about it, o powers that be?

This is another good idea, probley won't see it for a while because nick is very busy. But im sure he will get round to all these ideas as soon as he can!

I think it's what I mean, inasmuch as the idea of a sudden death variety has been mentioned in the past. Any time I've played it though, each player has had three lives. But either way, the decision of who goes first could be done at random, or could be decided on the order players enter the game, e.g. last in, first to play.

Of course, a basic rule would be that whoever breaks off gets another shot if nothing is potted.

That is the general rule, the person who brakes gets to shoot again or goes last (been a while since i played) martin_blank might know he's always down the pub with his m8s playing it!

Just to bring up this thread again. I hope you don't mind. But I do think that it is good if you created a killer tournament or something if it is feasible. I was thinking more on the lines of having something like 8 players for a table and then they each have 1 life and say a 15 second shot time limit or something. I don't even know if it can be done but I think it would be nice.

The guys in the snooker club used to play it back in the day. I'd love to see a funky addition!

I play the game a lot, and it's great for gambling, but I'm not sure I'd want to play a version on here.

There's no tactics or possible gameplan beyond the next shot, so I think it would get pretty boring without money on it.
