NO! Baseball for me. Texas Rangers!!

Best thing about baseball is the difference between going to watch it and going to a UK soccer match.

Video screens in the backs of all the seats, beer-sellers walking up and down the aisles all evening, and you even get to keep the ball if it knocks you out. Brilliant stuff

Baseball is a waste of time. You ever been to a match marty?
5 hours of the pretty much nothing. Then someone gets a bit hit, and half the crowd arent even watching!!

And the beer is only 2%!!!!!
You have to drink about 40! And they aint cheap.

hmmm, the beer works on me. I must be weakening : )

Ye, I've been to see Texas Rangers at the Ball Park, Arlington a few times - best was a 7-6 win over Seattle Mariners - singled in 9th to win it.

I love the game, and to me it's one of the best spectator experiences - but u have to drink during it. I don't think I could take it otherwise.

i dont understan why people have to drink during a sporting event to have a good time... plus it's a big waste of money.

If your gonna sit for 5 hours watching baseball, you will want beer. Believe me. Although regulations in place mean it has to be 2%volume. It takes at least 15 to get drunk.

Is that a recent thing scaley - cos last time I saw T-rangers was about 2003 - and I'm sure I was drinking normal Bud.

Snoman - with baseball the beer somehow adds to it, as the whole thing is atmosphere and it's like a night out. Obviously you don't need to have a few beers, but...

not sure how long its been that way, but at least a few years man. pretty good idea really, as sports and drunk people never mix too well. Also, people like me would get drunk and say ''screw the game, lets go to the bar!''

I much prefer baseball to nfl. I think I've only watched one baseball game drunk/semi-drunk and I didn't enjoy it as much cause I couldn't concentrate...stupid booze.

oh and Chicago White Sox!~~~
