ive jus been on a different forum(football 365) and this forum has ranks for however many posts u have made for example between 0-1000 u wud be newbie and 10000+ u wud be forum junkie etc this could go besides ur name on your profile please post ur views

There are already restrictions in place to prevent mass spamming. Also these people would soon be found out.

It shows that i've helped users with problems many many times and helped the site with views, opinions and diciplinery posts.

In that sense it should be encouraged.

On the downside about 1000 of my posts have been of me acting a twit
