I would have thort Pompey's main aim was to avoid relegation. They nearly got half the points they need in 5 games!! Thats a decent acheivement for a team that was in their position last season

To be honest i wasnt surprised.

With the quality they have brought in i can see them challenging for a Uefa cup spot. Last season they were delluded under a manager who really did not know how to get the best out of the players.

I would have thought though that they may not have wanted redknapp to come back after he went to Southampton, but he has more than repayed you.

Redknapp has proven his worth to Pompey and has always got the best out of the players he has had to work with, for exmple west ham. Sol Campbell is a great player, still cant understand why arsenal let him go. If you sign a few in January then it could be a good season for you lot.
